Cancellation Policy

Refund Policy Enterprise Security Consulting and Training Inc. (ESCT) follows New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) requirements to ensure fairness and transparency. Eight-Hour Courses If a student prepays but does not attend, they receive a 100% refund. If withdrawal occurs after the start but within the first four hours, a 50% refund is given. If withdrawal occurs after the first four hours, no refund is issued. However, the School Director may grant a credit toward a future course. Sixteen-Hour Courses If a student prepays but does not attend, they receive a 100% refund. Withdrawal after the first four hours: 75% refund. Withdrawal after the second four hours: 50% refund. Withdrawal after the third four hours: 25% refund. Withdrawal after the final four hours: no refund, though a credit may be offered at the School Director’s discretion. Refund Requests Refund requests must be made in writing (letter or email) or in person to the School Director. Refunds are processed within five (5) business days and returned via cash, company check, or the original card used. Attendance Policy Students must attend 100% of class time to receive a certificate. If unable to complete, the School Director may allow make-up sessions when the course is next offered, subject to availability. Complaint Procedure Students may bring complaints directly to the School Director, Owens F. Shepard, at 585-484-7745 or oshepard@esctroc.com. If unresolved, students may contact the NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services at 518-457-2667. Additional Notes ESCT does not charge non-refundable fees or deposits. Credits, when granted, must be used for the same course within one year, are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash. By registering, students acknowledge and agree to these terms.
